Southampton and Stoke with interest in Sturridge
Southampton and Stoke are keen to attract Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge. The English national is rarely given a chance to appear on Anfield, as the summer purchase Mohamed Salah, Robot Firmino and Sadio Mane are excellent. Sturridge has already resigned to the Liverpool situation and is willing to leave in January to have a chance to join England for the World Cup. He prefers Southampton, who will collect 75 million pounds of Merseyside for Virgil Van Dijk. However, the `saints` want to take the 28-year-old striker for rent by the end of the season. There are two problems ahead of the eventual transfer. Liverpool wants 25 million for him, and Juergen Klop does not want to split up with him and wants him to have at the end of the season for moments he will have to rely on. He is willing to let Danny Ings rent, with Stoke as well as West Ham, West Bromwich and Newcastle.
