Football tip UEFA finally targets WAA with VAR
The VAR system was again on the muzzle after its decisive interventions in the last two quarters of the Champions League on Wednesday, especially in the one between Manchester City and Tottenham. Citizens saw extreme victories in Rahim Stirling`s dramatic goal in the added time, but Judge Jacker Chakar, who previously had a contentious goal for Fernando Jorante, canceled him.
Today two big names in English judges -;Mark Claptonberg and Kieff Hackett were asked to comment on Chakker and VAR`s decisions on two of Albion`s major newspapers and responded. We present their views in the following lines.
The judges were right to cancel Rahim Stirling`s late goal for Manchester City and it was great at night for the VAR system.
The repetitions obviously indicate that Sergio Aguero is ambushed at the time of defeating the ball by his team-mate Bernardo Silva to him. The Assistant Judge rightly left his flag low in anticipation of a review of the situation, as he obviously hesitated whether the hand was coming from Spurs midfielder Christian Erikensen. Still, it is obvious that Silva turns to Aguero. Some may argue that this touch is not intentional, but that does not matter at all. When the last touch of the ball is a player from City, then Aguero is ambushed.
Earlier, the use of VAR for the verification and subsequent respect of Fernando Iorente`s goal was also a fantastic example of using the system in the best light. After all, the just decision was taken. At such a crucial moment of a match via
answers for football picks of such immense importance, it is important for the referee to have a second chance to review the situation after the hosts have stated that the guest`s pitch has scored.
If the ball had entered directly into the door of the Spaniard`s hand, the hunt would be canceled if the contact had been unintentional. Repeated slowdowns, however, clearly indicate that the ball enters the net from the upper part of Yorente`s thigh. There was a suggestion that the ball licked his hand, but this contact is too minimal and therefore insufficient reason, and the ending is the thigh, not the hand.
Sometimes we criticize VAR for his use of slow-motion cadence in hand-held situations, but here the system was obligatory to use to make the right decision.

The judge reviewing the clip did not want to cancel Fernando Iorrete`s goal, so I support his decision to be honored. In fact, UEFA has demonstrated this week in the Champions League how to use the VAR:Etihad the referee took the decision based on his tattoo footage.
Other angles seemed to show a cleaner contact with the Spaniard`s hand as he escaped from his guard and pointed the Kevin Tripper-centered ball to the door. I suspect, however, that the monitor`s viewer does not give him any clarity when Iorente falls. Still, he made the right decision.
But here comes the question of what will happen next season. Roberto Rossetti -;the director
